This device is a bipartite horizontal tube furnace for utilization with fused silica tube as the experimental cavity. The possibility of building several hot zones (according to the customer´s needs) is available in this high temperature furnace. The maximum working temperature is 1200°C. The furnaces shown in the image presents 2 and 3 hot zones, respectively. They are furnaces for temperature operation up to 1200 °C degree. This device is a 1700°C resistive furnace. This furnace is tubular, horizontal, hermetic, for thermal treatment of samples. An alumina tube is located in the interior of the tube and is used as the experimental cavity. The furnace may be used with controlled atmosphere (the flanges located at the ends of the tube guarantee hermetic closure and have connections that allow the circulation of the chosen gas). In addition, the furnace may also be used with a vacuum inside the experimental cavity. This furnace also features a shielded instrumentation thermocouple inside the tube, in order to monitor both the temperatures of the samples and that inside the tube.

This device consists of a vertical heated hermetically sealed chamber furnace for thermal treatment of samples under controlled atmosphere or vacuum. The lower access to the interior of the heating chamber is allowed by moving a platform positioned at its base. This equipment allows the dimensioning of the heating chamber according to the needs of the researcher, since the atmosphere control is done in the entire heating chamber and not only in a tube as in the tubular furnaces.
